When it cures, a ceramic coating turns into a hard yet flexible glass shield that bonds to your paint. Think of it as an extra clear coat with many times the hardness, plus water repellency and self cleaning ability that no wax can match.
Hydrophobic and self cleaning
Water beads up, grabs the dirt and rolls it right off the paint.
9H surface hardness

Ultimate deep gloss
Nano particles fill the tiny pores in your clear coat for a permanent showroom shine.

Wax fades. This doesn't.
A ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and cures into a hard, glass-like layer instead of sitting on top the way wax or sealant does. The result is a finish that sheds water, resists UV fade and chemical etching, and stays glossy long after a wax job would've washed away.
- +Deep, reflective gloss that holds up over years, not weeks
- +Hydrophobic surface sheds water, dirt, and road grime
- +Resists UV oxidation, bird droppings, and chemical etching
- +Makes every future wash faster and safer on the paint
It becomes part of your paint.
Your car's paint is a stack of layers, and the clear coat on top takes every hit: sun, bugs, sprinklers, car wash brushes. Wax and sealants just sit on that clear coat and wash away.
A ceramic coating is a liquid that cures into a hard, glass like shell and locks onto the clear coat. That's why it lasts years instead of weeks. It's also why we correct the paint first. Whatever is under the coating gets sealed in, so it has to be right before it goes on.
Florida is hard on paint.
Central Florida hits your car with more than most of the country. A coating gives the clear coat a sacrificial shield against all of it.
Year round UV
Strong sun every month of the year fades and oxidizes clear coat. The coating's UV resistance slows that chalky, dull look.
Lovebug season
Lovebugs are acidic and bake into paint in the heat, leaving permanent etching. On a coated car they wipe off instead of eating in.
Rain and sprinklers
Afternoon storms and hard sprinkler water dry into mineral spots. A slick coating sheds water before spots can set.
Pollen and tree sap
Oak pollen and sap stick hard and stain light colored paint. Coated paint releases them with a normal wash.
Bird droppings
Droppings are acidic too and can etch clear coat in a single hot afternoon. The coating buys you time to wipe them off clean.
Road grime and brake dust
I-4 and 417 traffic coat your car in grime and hot brake dust. A coated surface stays cleaner longer and washes faster.
Wax vs. sealant vs. ceramic.
All three add shine. Only one is built to keep protecting your paint for years.
| Feature | Wax | Sealant | Ceramic Coating |
|---|---|---|---|
| How long it lasts | A few weeks | A few months | Years |
| How it holds on | Sits on top | Sits on top | Bonds to the clear coat |
| Water beading | Fades fast | Good | Strong and long lasting |
| UV and chemical resistance | Low | Moderate | High |
| Gloss | Warm, short lived | Good | Deep and glassy |
| Upkeep | Reapply constantly | Reapply every season | Easy washes and periodic maintenance |
Easier to clean. Better to look at.
- +Real gloss. Correction removes the swirls, the coating locks in that wet, mirror look.
- +Faster washes. Dirt and water slide off, so a wash takes a fraction of the effort.
- +Less damage over time. UV, bugs, droppings and water spots hit the coating, not your clear coat.
- +Higher resale. Paint that still looks new is one of the easiest ways to hold a car's value.
- +Cars, trucks and bikes. We coat daily drivers, weekend cars and motorcycles.
Keep it performing with our maintenance detailing, built specifically for coated vehicles.
Correction first. Coating second.
Any ceramic product will fail early over unaddressed swirl marks and contamination. We don't skip steps to save time.
Decontamination Wash
Snow foam, iron removal, and clay treatment strip bonded contaminants from the clear coat.
Multi-Stage Correction
Machine polishing under grid lighting removes swirl marks and fine scratches, panel by panel.
Panel Wipe-Down
A final solvent wipe removes polishing oils so the ceramic bonds directly to bare clear coat.
Ceramic Application & Cure
Coating is applied panel-by-panel, flashed, and cured under controlled shop conditions.
Before you ask.
How long does a ceramic coating actually last?
It depends on the coating system and how the vehicle is maintained, but professionally applied ceramic systems are generally built to outlast wax or sealant many times over. We'll walk you through what to expect for your specific vehicle and use case during your quote.
Will ceramic coating stop rock chips and scratches?
No. Ceramic coating protects against chemical, UV, and light abrasion damage, but it won't stop a rock chip or a deep scratch. That's what Paint Protection Film is for, which is why we pair the two.
Do I need paint correction if my car is new?
Usually, yes. Even new vehicles pick up wash-induced swirl marks and light defects from dealer prep and transport. We inspect under grid lighting and scope only the correction your paint actually needs.
How soon can I wash the car after coating?
We'll give you a cure-time window before the first wash, plus maintenance guidance so the coating keeps performing the way it should.
How much does a ceramic coating cost?
It depends on the size of the vehicle, how much correction the paint needs, and which coating level you choose. Send us a quote request with your vehicle and we'll give you a real number, not a range.
Can I take a coated car through an automatic car wash?
We don't recommend it. Brush washes put swirl marks right back into the paint and harsh soaps wear the coating down faster. A gentle hand wash or our maintenance detailing keeps it performing the way it should.
How long will my car be at the shop?
Most coating jobs take one to two days depending on how much correction the paint needs. We'll give you a timeline with your quote so you can plan around it.
